"You know they say the brain's the most erogenous organ? Ask Nashira about that—she can make you squirt without laying a hand on your body."
―Nellis[4]

Nashira, nicknamed Nash, was a Human female Force-illusionist and telepath from Lucazec, and one of the new generation of Jedi trained by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. She joined Nellis's social clique, becoming lovers with her and Kira, and often mediated disputes between the two by using her tasping ability to soothe and stimulate them. She romped with her friends in the Happy Grove on Endor while Skywalker watched, and the Jedi Master later indulged himself further with his students until Kylo Ren massacred his Padawans. Luke recalled Nashira among his previous lovers when faced with mimoids during his exile on Ahch-To, and hoped she would one day return to him.

Biography[edit]

Early life and studies[edit]

Nashira
"Nash, you're doing it again, aren't you?"
―Nellis[1]

Hailing from Ialtra[4] on Lucazec, Nashira was a skilled Force-illusionist who focused on projections and abilities related to the mind.[1] An adherent of the White Current on her homeworld,[4] she had tasping abilities that allowed her to use the power of the Force to directly touch and stimulate the pleasure centers of the brain in a person with whom she had a true connection.[1]

She encountered Jedi Master Luke Skywalker following the Battle of Jakku,[1] when he came to Lucazec to investigate a Fallanassi deception and to study the Force projections conjured by their illusionists. Nashira's tasping abilities brought her to Luke's attention,[4] and she became one of the new generation of Jedi Padawans he took after the Imperial remnant vanished into the Unknown Regions,[1] studying at his training temple[5] on Ossus.[2] She joined Nellis, Kira, Ben Solo, and other trainees at the academy, and indulged in unorthodox lessons with her female friends as a member of the social clique led by the older Nellis.[1] When tempers flared between Nellis and Kira, Nashira took the middle ground and used her tasping abilities to soothe them. Her skillful touch inflamed the girls' passions, and they often ended up in each other's dorms.[2]

Nashira worked closely with Tai and helped to develop his own sense powers, becoming his sexual partner, and the girls' sorority had romps with Kane.[2] Ben Solo believed her mental skills were beyond what he could accomplish, and though Nashira never brought it up and acted friendly towards him, he considered her behavior to be hypocritical.[6] She didn't know what to make of the troubled young man.[2]

Romping on Endor[edit]

"What about Master Luke?"
"Oh, I think he likes to watch. I think he likes watching his students almost as much as he likes them calling him 'Master'."
―Nashira and Nellis[1]

Skywalker took his students to Ilum to participate in the first Gathering since the Clone Wars,[1] though he found the system off-limits. Instead,[2] Luke ventured with a select group, including Nashira, to the Happy Grove on Endor—the funeral marker of Anakin Skywalker. She mediated an argument between Kira and Nellis, interposing herself and using her tasping abilities to make them feel good. Nellis recognized what Nashira was doing, and the illusionist responded by kissing her deeply. Kira joined in, rubbing her crotch against the illusionist's thigh in an effort to feel good, though Nellis called her on her selfish behavior. Nashira continued kissing Nellis's neck as the older girl disciplined Kira, and drew Nellis's attention to Skywalker, watching from the edge of a cliff.[1] Skywalker paid particular attention to the frolicking girls once they became intimate.[7]

Nashira and the other trainees charmed Luke, and he did far more with them than simply observe their antics, though he would later realize this fueled his ego and possibly constituted predatory behavior towards his students.[1] Nonetheless, he indulged himself by occasionally joining in with their frolicking regardless of the bounds of Master-apprentice relationships,[5] and otherwise watched them in the forests surrounding his temple.[4]

Destruction[edit]

"Luke was training a new Jedi Order. A young Jedi named Kylo Ren, who was a pupil of Luke's until he turned to evil, helped the First Order hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights. Now the Jedi are all but extinct."
―The spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi, to Rey[1]

Ben Solo, already angry at what he perceived to be duplicitousness in Nashira over her talents, grew resentful of his fellow students after conversing with a presence in the forests surrounding the temple. He believed Nashira was frolicking and fucking with Nellis, Kira, Kane, and other students while he was being left out. He attacked Nellis, using an illusion to alter her memories that went beyond Nashira's abilities, and believed that only she would have been able to sense his mind probe.[6]

When Luke was unable to stop his nephew's growing darkness and made a fatal mistake,[5] Kylo Ren massacred Luke's Jedi[8] in 28 ABY, and Nashira was believed to have perished in the inferno that burned the temple down.[4] Ren went on to help the First Order hunt down and destroy the Jedi until Skywalker's order was all but extinct. Luke went into exile on the Jedi homeworld of Ahch-To, and began witnessing mimoids of his departed students conjured by the Solaris Sea and the Force itself. On one occasion, while meditating on his former lovers, Luke saw a mimoid of Nashira, as well as Nellis and Kira, and recalled their romp on Endor before the dark times. He mourned his departed students, but hoped that they could still return to him one day, albeit in a different form.[1]

Description[edit]

"That girl's passion is no illusion. Too much, and it can become as addictive as spice, but with a deft touch, it can soothe."
―Luke Skywalker[2]

Physical appearance and biology[edit]

Nashira was a female Human with brown hair,[1] green eyes, and light skin.[3]

Personality and traits[edit]

"The tree which moves Nell to tears of joy is in the eyes of Kira only a green thing that stands in the way. But a person does not grow from the ground like a tree, so let us use our legs to wander away from this contentiousness and towards a resolution."
―Nashira[1]

Nashira represented the middle ground between her fellow students Kira and Nellis, and often mediated arguments between the two. Hoping to avoid contentiousness in favor of conflict resolution, Nashira sometimes employed her illusionist skills to make warring parties feel good. Her ability left people in a dreamy state of intoxicated contentedness and slurred speech.[1]

A talented student of the mystical Fallanassi abilities,[2] Nashira was the most powerful of the Force conjurers among Luke's students,[6] and honed her mental powers during training.[2] Her Force skills focused on illusions, projections, and matters of the mind. She could control a person's pain, and her tasping ability allowed her to touch the pleasure centers of the brain to provoke a dream-like state, or erotic stimulation. While using this ability too much could become addictive, Nashira used it to soothe others with a deft touch.[1] She helped Tai with his own sense powers, and progressed her skills in the arts of illusion and projection.[2] Nashira was also skilled in telepathy, and Ben Solo believed her abilities to be beyond anything he could hope to achieve as a Jedi trainee—though he eventually surpassed her when using the dark side of the Force to tamper with Nellis's memories[6] with a memory taint.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit]

Nashira first appeared, in the form of a mimoid and in flashbacks, in Das Flute's 2016 erotic fiction "The Ways of the Force".[1] The author derived her name from the Legends character who was claimed to be Luke Skywalker's mother in the 1996 novel Before the Storm, stating his intention to draw on established names with some bearing on Ben Solo's family history.[6] She later received an entry in Kooriv's The Essential Guide to Erotica Characters.[4]
