"Oh, to taste the fields of goatgrass glistening in the sun! Smell the rut-scent of females... their velvet flanks... breasts like tripled jewels!"
―Ree-YeesThe Essential Guide to Erotica Characters

Malastare was a planet and the homeworld of members of the Dug and Gran species.

Description[edit]

The planet Malastare featured fields of green goatgrass, in which Gran would rut.[1] Pixelito was located on the world,[2] and Malastare Narrows was a location in relation to Malastare.[5]

History[edit]

Malastare was the homeworld of Dugs Sebulba (hailing from Pixelito)[2] and Rednax,[6] and Gran including gambler Opper, who tried his luck in Cloud City casinos and with Princess Leia Organa during her stay in the Yarith Bespin,[3] and Ree-Yees. The latter operated as a criminal in Jabba's Palace on Tatooine, but longed to return to his homeworld where he used to rut females in the goatgrass.[1] The scavenger Rey wondered if the trilateral symmetry of Gran genitalia was an evolutionary advantage for a species sharing its homeworld with a second sentient race.[4]

The Gran podracer Mawhonic engaged in group sex with several of his groupies on Malastare and Hok, putting his tricock to use.[7]

The Republic Navy pilot Pym Dameron was inspired to join the Clone Wars from stories of the Battle of Malastare Narrows.[5]

During the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire settled a Human population on Malastare, for which certain Dugs grew up working for.[4]

Blade Squadron, part of the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps, conducted a strike on Malastare after the Battle of Endor, though Lieutenant Gina Moonsong disobeyed orders during the attack.[8]

The Dug Ryabo claimed to be related to the erstwhile Doge of Malastare, though most Jakkuvians agreed that he had likely grown up working for the planet's Human population.[4]

According to Ben Solo, his father Han Solo associated with pilots on Malastare, among other worlds including Theron and Corellia, and was likely to brag to them over his son being the heir to the Jedi.[9]
