K-2SO (Kay-Tuesso, also Kaytoo) was a KX-series security droid and enforcer created by Arakyd Industries on Vulpter for the Galactic Empire.

Biography[edit]

Creation and Imperial service[edit]

K-2SO was created in 12 BBY on the planet Vulpter as a KX-series security droid and enforcer in the service of the Galactic Empire. Outfitted with masculine programming, K-2SO was assigned to Wecacoe Deployment in the Colonies, where he encountered Cassian Andor, Kertas, and Rismor—agents of the Alliance to Restore the Republic conducting a raid on Wecacoe. K-2 was reprogrammed by Andor and his lovers, turning him into an Alliance agent, and the droid helped Cassian escape with Imperial security protocols despite his base layer of programming attempting to reassert itself.[1]

Alliance reprogramming[edit]

K-2SO and Jyn Erso

Cassian overwrote K-2's base programming and completed the process by having the enforcer fully reformatted by Alliance technicians on Yavin 4. Harisha Gulan advised behavioral parameters, but Cassian chose to ignore them in favor of special programming.[1] With the help of Chief Argo, Cassian secretly equipped K-2 with a purloined Cybot Galactica X-series phallic attachment[3] and the advanced behavioral matrix to utilize it,[1] though the pair neglected to mention these alterations in their report to Chief Gulan. Some of the base personnel referred to K-2 as Andor's pet droid.[3]

K-2 became a special infiltration agent, and was capable of using his phallic attachment and special programming to carry out aggressive negotiations with Imperial defectors, double agents, underworld molls, and piratesses. He was particularly capable of pleasuring females with his phallic device,[1] and recorded the intimate details of many of his and Cassian's female associates and acquaintances on Cassian's urging. K-2 recorded compliments made about Major Lessev, Captain Nioma, and Agent Targeter among others, and was provided with a thorough run-down of the biological quirks of Kertas and Rismor after he was brought back online. Association with Jyn Erso and deactivation[edit]

K-2 assisted in the extraction of Jyn Erso from the Imperial prison on Wobani,[1] though he almost cracked her ribs in the process,[3] and joined her and Cassian on a mission to Jedha. From there the trio embarked on a mission to Eadu, and afterwards returned to Yavin 4.[1]

Cassian questioned K-2 over his impressions of Jyn, wanting to know details of her personality, background, and her physical form. K-2 agreed to join Jyn's strike force on a mission to raid a high-security vault on Scarif, albeit under Cassian's orders. Cassian also asked him to follow Jyn in case she did anything rash, and the droid caught up to her inside the grounded U-wing LMTR-20. The girl questioned him over his presence, and when she exhibited stress over the upcoming mission, K-2 suggested several recreational activities she could engage in. Impressed by his color commentary, Jyn pressed the droid further, and K-2 revealed his record-keeping of the physical attributes of many of his acquaintances. Although angry that K-2 was using his databanks to record her vital statistics, Jyn accused him of spying on her and of lacking the functionality to do anything more than simply catalog her intimate dimensions. In response, K-2 revealed his phallic attachment for her inspection.[3]

Physical appearance and design[edit]

A KX-series security droid with masculine programming, K-2SO[1] had gray plating and white[2] photoreceptors in his bullet-shaped, skull-like head. His lanky body was composed of broad shoulder plates fixed to a barrel-shaped torso, and his pelvis was an upturned dome connected to spindly legs.[3] He possessed a mechno-phallus[1] in the form of an X-series phallic attachment equipped to his internal pelvic mechanism[3] and controlled via his advanced behavioral matrix and special programming.[1]

K-2 had a tactical matrix used to examine and analyze the individuals around him. He took special interest in Humanoid females, discovering that Cassian studied the physical attributes of many of their colleagues and acquaintances in the Alliance. His internal storage processors were capable of handling over six million exobytes of data. He could alter his electronic voice, typically an amplified monotone, to produce impressions of other beings, such as Cassian.[3]

Personality and traits[edit]

An enforcer and a security droid,[1] was programmed for espionage and strategic analysis. He could be charming, and had a bitterly dry sense of humor he exhibited through sarcasm, often embellishing his statements with color commentary.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit]

K-2SO was created for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and was voiced and portrayed through motion-capture by actor Alan Tudyk. He was first mentioned in erotica canon in the fifth update to Kooriv's The Essential Guide to Erotica Characters, and was first depicted by Shabby Blue in SBRO04 - Jyn & K-2SO, featured in a tryst with Jyn Erso which was later expanded upon in Kooriv's "Solace Before Scarif".
