Coonee,[3] known as Nal Ku'nee in Huttese,[6] was an agriworld in the Expansion Region, home to the coldppeda and a variety of other livestock animals. It was the homeworld of Death Star trooper Devin Cant and Jedi student Nellis.
Description[edit]
An agriworld in the Expansion Region's[1] Coonee system, part of the Brevost sector,[2] Coonee had grassy plains[3] of zeka grass which fed[1] native coldppedas. These creatures, similar to dewbacks, were kept by local ranchers and farmgirls[3] on the Skeaping Upland,[4] and only truly thrived on Coonee, their hooves having adapted to the loamy plains. Other livestock species included nerfs, shaaks, happabores, and banthas, though brain worm infestations sometimes afflicted farm animals.[1] A brain worm-infested coldppeda could go on a rampage that would destroy farm buildings, forcing ranchers to construct sturdy structures.[5]
Camps of space gypsies dotted the world after the Galactic Empire's Cultural Persecutions.[1]

Early history[edit]
It was suggested that the Coonee coldppeda shared a common ancestor with its distant relative the dewback, and that the ancestral populations were separated onto different worlds by a race of hyperspace conquerors from the Unknown Regions. Coldppedas thrived on Coonee above all other worlds, and as their meat had an aphrodisiac quality it was shipped across the galaxy to the Core Worlds, Hutt planets, Zygerrian planets, Bespin, and other resort worlds.[1] Some of the coldppedas themselves were shipped to Ponemah Terminal.[7]
Coonee was once occupied by Hutts,[5] and was known as Nal Ku'nee in Huttese. They considered coldppeda meat to be a Hutt aphrodisiac.[6]
The world had a culture of itinerant work, and some farms hired extra helping hands for two or three months in the yearly high season.[1] These migrant workers sought honest labor and the favors of farmgirls who grew up with nothing but coldppedas for company.[8]
Rise of the Empire[edit]

Moving to Coonee, Nellis's grandfather owned a ranch built on the site of a battle won by Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars. Her grandfather named it after its savior, but Rancho Obi-Wan attracted attention from the Galactic Empire, which established a garrison on Coonee, and the family was evicted. The Empire's Cultural Persecutions carried out by Yupe Tashu led to space gypsies seeking refuge on Coonee, and their camps dotted the world. Some of these camps aided Kayos when he raised Partisans against the Empire.[1]
The Death Star trooper Devin Cant grew up herding coldppedas on Coonee, and watching the animals mate aroused strange feelings in him that his later Imperial training helped suppress. However, the memories returned when he and Ansin Thobel took advantage of Princess Leia Organa during her imprisonment aboard the Death Star. Cant forced her onto all fours like a coldppeda waiting to be bred and fucked her from behind while Thobel took her mouth.[9]
Following the Battle of Endor, Kayos's Partisans forced the Imperial garrison to evacuate, and Kayos reclaimed Rancho Obi-Wan as his home.[1] Chewbacca once took his son Lumpawaroo to Coonee, where Lumpy ate some of the world's famous coldppeda meat.[7]
Nellis grew up as a coldppeda rancher on Coonee until joining Luke Skywalker's Jedi.[3] She dealt with brainworm infestations among the coldppedas, and fought dirty to defend the ranch from raiders. Nellis worked with farmhand Prue, and shared smoked coldppeda ribs with him one night. He kissed her, and Nellis ran to her room to masturbate to the arousing experience. Prue entered her room during the act, pressing himself against her in what would become a treasured memory for the girl.[1] Nellis claimed that Han Solo and Chewbacca had once been coldppeda ranchers for a season on Coonee.[10]
After Ben Solo discovered that Nellis and other Jedi students had watched HoloNet footage revealing his secret heritage, he attacked the former farmgirl with a powerful mental assault, forcing her to relive memories of Coonee. However, he altered her perception, making her believe that, while masturbating to Prue in Rancho Obi-Wan, her father Kayos had caught her and forced her to suck him off. The girl was left catatonic from the attack, unable to recall the true events of her past.[1] Following Luke Skywalker's disappearance, he was reportedly sighted on Coonee among other worlds.[11]
A ship carrying coldppedas from Coonee to Ponemah Terminal stopped over at Niima Outpost on Jakku, and was observed by the scavenger Rey.[7]
As news of Han Solo's death spread through the galaxy, people on Coonee sent quick prayers on behalf of the fallen legend.[10]
