"When the Galactic Concordance was signed and the War on Insurgency ended, the New Republic released us from the prison farm on Concordia where they had us doing forced labor."
―Kherris Quenton, to ReyRey for Rent

Concordia was a location in the galaxy mined for beskar by the Mandalorians. It was where Pre Vizsla established himself as the leader of Death Watch. He captured Duchess Satine Kryze in the mines of Concordia until rescue by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and in later years Concordia hosted a Rebel prison farm where Grottil, Kherris Quenton, and other Imperial prisoners-of-war were incarcerated until the Galactic Concordance.

History[edit]

"He'd wake up in a cold sweat, howling about bloodthirsty Ewoks, and I'd have to give him a damn good suck-job just to get his mind off Endor. His platoon must've witnessed horror beyond imagination."
―A Rebel prisoner-of-war on Concordia, about GrottilThe Essential Guide to Erotica Characters

The first ancestors of the Mandalorians were drawn to mine both Concordia and Mandalore for the precious beskar ore used in the forging of Mandalorian armor. The secrets of the forging process were kept by ironsmiths, and became part of traditional rites among Mandalorians.[3]

Renouncing the pacifism of Duchess Satine Kryze, Pre Vizsla established himself as the leader of Death Watch on Concordia, and held Kryze captive in the Concordian mines, forcing himself on her. Obi-Wan Kenobi fought Vizsla and rescued Satine, and eventually Vizsla relocated to Carlac.[1]

The Rebel Alliance maintained a Rebel prison farm on Concordia, and incarcerated Imperial prisoners of the Battle of Endor in the final months of the Galactic Civil War. Grottil was among the forced laborers working at the farm, until he and fellow inmates were freed after the signing of the Galactic Concordance[2] and the Imperial Instruments of Surrender.[5] Kherris Quenton, another inmate captured at the Battle of Jakku, was also freed by the New Republic at this time.[4]

Behind the scenes[edit]

Concordia first appeared in canon in The Mandalore Plot, an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and was introduced into erotica canon with a mention in Das Flute's 2016 erotic fiction "Furlough", as the location of the Rebel prison farm that incarcerated Grottil—a reference to events in Squid Hills' Legends erotica story "Orphans", although the planet was left unidentified in that story.
