The caedus rod was an ancient penetrative device descended from the Sith electro-phallus. Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren were said to make use of these devices, willing to use them on any surviving Jedi following the destruction of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple.

An ancient device, the caedus rod[2] was an organic-looking creation directly descended from the Sith electro-phallus.[1]
When communicating with the Master outside Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple, Ben Solo received a brief Force vision of Nellis being penetrated by a caedus rod while a Sith holocron wracked her body with Force lightning.[2] Following the destruction of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple, whispers suggested that Kylo and his Knights of Ren used the caedus rod as part of their arsenal of weapons against any surviving Jedi.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit]
The caedus rod originated in Legends erotica with an appearance in Vandal's 2013 Legends erotic fiction, "Corellian Stripes". It was introduced into erotica canon with a brief appearance in a vision to Ben Solo in Das Flute's 2016 canon erotic fiction, "The Tragedy of Darth Vader the Strong". The name is in reference to Darth Caedus from Star Wars Legends, who uses a similar device on his mother in SBCSW25 - Sithlings and "Destiny of a Slave".
